The Motorola Droid Bionic 4G Android smartphone will be released by Verizon Wireless later this year.

You've known it as the Motorola Etna, and today it officially became the Motorola Droid Bionic - Motorola's first 4G LTE smartphone to be released on Verizon Wireless later this year. The Droid Bionic's HDMI connectivity enables consumers to connect the device to their HDTVs to experience their favorite games, as well as purchased HD content, in full 1080p. For multi-taskers, the Droid Bionic's Mirror Mode function enables simultaneous streaming of video to the TV and on the device.

For road warriors, the Motorola Droid Bionic comes equipped with corporate email, remote wipe, data security and encryption capabilities IT departments appreciate (think Droid Pro features). The Motorola Droid Bionic also gets 512MB RAM as well as an Android browser with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and HTML5.
